Due to Strong westerlies, gale gusting 100 km/h in exposed places, we've decided to postpone this event from it's original date of the the 17th of September.
The first race in the Tamariki Spring Series, the classic Chainless Race!
Who can generate speed and maintain it down the hill without pedalling??
Race Course
Racers will be competing on Captain Torpedo with the start line beginning after the split with Drainpipe and will have the finish line before the merge with Wasabi.
The track will be closed to the public until the trail is clear of resources in the afternoon.
Timing
7am – 9am Set up of start line & finish line
8:30am Parking gate & toilets opens
8:45am Marshal briefing takes place
9:00am Marshals heading up hill & into position
9:15am – 9:45am Race Registration
9:45am Race Briefing
10:00am – 11:30am Practice Begins
11.30am-12.30pm Lunch
12.30pm Sweeper Opens Course for race runs
12.35pm All Girls (U10,U13,U15)
12:50pm Under 10 race runs
1.00pm Under 13 race runs

1:45pm Sweeper Closes Course

Good events require great people.
We're looking for race marshals to help out on race days.
Marshals receive a FREE lunch and also a Day Riding Pass.
Day Passes can be used whenever a marshal wishes to redeem them.
