Concussion Conversation Baseline Testing

Thursday, September 19, 2024
4:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Book in for your Baseline test; slots are available every 30 minutes between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.

For every 10 injuries in a sports season, 1 to 3 will be concussions.

Symptoms are NOT a reliable metric for concussion recovery

Multi-test baseline testing that compares YOU vs. YOU, helps us know safely and precisely when you can return to play

Approximately 50% of all concussions in youth may be unreported as a result of fear of being removed from a game/event, not wanting to let down teammates, lack of knowledge around common concussion symptoms or not thinking they were serious enough to seek medical attention.

WHAT is a baseline test?

A baseline is a series of tests providing your benchmark of healthy brain function.

WHEN to baseline test?

You should do a baseline test before the start of each sports season.

WHY baseline test?

  • Everyone’s normal is different, which is why testing YOU vs. YOU is the most accurate.
  • Having no symptoms is NOT an accurate indication of successful recovery.
  • Multi-test baseline testing that compares YOU vs. YOU, helps us know safely and precisely when you can return to play.
