This is a 2-hour Workshop.
The main topic is “Basic Maintenance”, What to check for,
how to look after your bike and some basic skills required to keep your bike in top working order.

As a mountain biker, knowing how to service and maintain your bike is crucial because it ensures that your bike is in optimal condition,
enhancing both performance and safety. Regular maintenance can prevent unexpected breakdowns,
prolong the lifespan of components, and provide a more enjoyable riding experience on the trails.

This workshop is an interactive class.
Students will learn the theory and practical applications to maintain their bikes.
They can bring their bike with them or they can use the equipment available at the Park. 

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamental mechanical skills to keep your bike in tip-top shape.
By understanding how to diagnose faults and action minor repairs, you can be on your bike for longer and save money.

Basic gear tuning
Brake checks, understanding brake pad wear and how to diagnose faults.
Tyre inspection. Tyre pressures, tyre repairs.
