As you drive into the park you will see work taking place on the Cashmere Worsleys flood storage project.
This work will reduce flood risk on the Ōpāwaho/Heathcote River and will create fantastic wetlands & natural reserve leading into the park.
Please be aware of the increase in construction vehicle presence on CAP Road.
Please do not attempt to overtake these vehicles in your car or on your bike.
Trucks will be turning in and out of the site regularly so please pay attention when travelling along CAP Road.
