The Phoenix Enduro

The Phoenix Enduro is a Enduro mountain bike event held at the Christchurch Adventure Park, on the 29th October 2022.
In 2022, the Phoenix Enduro is a EWS Qualifier Event, giving competitors the opportunity to gather some qualification points for the next EWS season.
Our inaugural event took place in 2019 as we 'rose from the ashes' to deliver the event post our awful wildfires of 2017.
Enduro mountain bike racing is designed to be the definitive test for mountain bikers. The focus of each event is to create a great atmosphere, community, competition and adventure for the competitor, including the best riding the region has to offer.

Standard entry fee $180 NZD.
Timed race stages.
Once spots are filled entries will be closed. We are unable to reserve or hold spots but there will be a waitlist.
Standard entries close Sunday 16th October 2022, 7:00pm NZ time.

Race day

Stage trainings will take place over 2 days - Thursday 27th and Friday 28th.
Stages 1, 5 & 6 will be open for practice on the Thursday, from 1200 through to 1800.
Stages 2, 3 & 4 will be open for practice on the Friday, from 1200 through to 1800.
Race stages are closed during official practice to all public.
All riders on course during practice MUST have plates on their bikes. Any rider on a stage without a plate or outside the official schedule will be disqualified.

Minimum age 13 years.

All categories are based on the riders age, as of December 31^st 2022.

If you need to withdraw you are able to receive a 50% refund up to the Sunday 16^th October 2022. After this, no refunds will be given.

You are able to transfer your entry to another participant up until the Wednesday 19^th October 2022. To complete this please email events@christchurchadventurepark.com.
If you would like to change to a different category, again please email events@christchurchadventurepark.com. You are able to change category until the Wednesday 19^th October 2022.

The course may be altered if we were to experience any extreme weather.
In the unfortunate circumstance we cancel due to COVID-19 circumstances, and are unable to reschedule the event, all entrants will be given the following options,

Transfer entry to 2023 event.
- If you opt to transfer, email through simply saying transfer and we will do all the leg work and be in contact with information regarding 2023 Phoenix. Calendars from EWS still TBC. Note, those who have transferred from 2021 to 2022 event cannot transfer their entry to 2023.
Donate your entry to CAP's Native Planting Fund.
- Did you know, we have planted over 6,000 native plants within the Park? Your donation would go towards purchasing more native plants to aid in the Tui corridor project as well as of native plant bands along the hillside.
Opt for a refund.
- If none of the options above work, we can process a 75% refund of your entry fee. We will retain 25% in order to cover our non-refundable costs of licenses, traffic management, consents etc. Refunds are only valid for entries purchased for that years event. ie. no transfers from the 2021 event can then opt for a refund.
