Duty Manager / Barista Roles
We are looking for IQC Duty Manager, who loves providing excellent customer service to join the Cafe crew at the Christchurch Adventure Park. To be successful in the role you will be reliable, motivated, and willing to get stuck in as a senior member of our cafe crew. You’ll have a great can-do attitude and an appetite for providing excellent service.
Christchurch Adventure Park is home to Aoteaora’s highest and longest ziplines, with mountain biking trails for all abilities, uphill walking trails, a retail shop and a chilled café. CAP’s ethos is one of active wellness – both physical and mental. Our crew love sharing the Adventure Park with our guests, and the smooth running of the kitchen, consistently producing great food, keeps our guests happy and coming back time and again.
We are a seasonal business, so shifts will change, but you must be available to work weekends, public holidays and over the busy Christmas and New Year period.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to create an a great customer experience, and have a strong foundation of Front of House skills then we want to hear from you.
The ideal applicant must have:
- At least 1 year experience in a busy kitchen
- Great attitude
- Good sense of humour
- Willingness to work hard and get the job done to a high standard
- Fantastic team player
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Look clean and presentable
- An Eagerness to learn new skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
