Chef
We are looking for Cafe Chefs to join the kitchen crew at the Christchurch Adventure Park.
We’re looking for someone who has a love of food and providing excellent customer service. To be successful in the role you will be reliable, motivated, and willing to get stuck in as a key part of our cafe crew. You’ll have a great can-do attitude and an appetite for providing great service. We're particularly looking for those Cafe Chefs who are good at baking, preparing sandwiches, breakfast service and preparing cabinet food.
Christchurch Adventure Park is home to Aoteaora’s highest and longest ziplines, with mountain biking trails for all abilities, uphill walking trails, a retail shop and a chilled café. CAP’s ethos is one of active wellness – both physical and mental. Our crew love sharing the Adventure Park with our guests, and the smooth running of the kitchen, consistently producing great food, keeps our guests happy and coming back time and again.
We are a seasonal business, so shifts will change, but you must be available to work weekends, and available to work over our busy Christmas and New Year period. Your hours will mainly be during the day, and some early evenings, and the occassional evening weekend work for our Christmas functions.

The ideal applicant must have:
- At least 1 year experience in a busy kitchen
- Proven baking and cabinet food and general cafe experience
- Great attitude
- Good sense of humour
- Willingness to work hard and get the job done to a high standard
- Fantastic team player
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Look clean and presentable
- An Eagerness to learn new skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
