Trail Crew Team Leader
Bring your vision and passion of mountain bike trail building to lead our experienced Trail Crew at the Christchurch Adventure Park. This role will be ideal for a motivated person who is looking to bring their leadership, skills to develop and deliver exceptional riding experiences for our customers.
CAP is known locally, nationally and internationally for our outstanding mountain bike trails and experiences, and trails are an integral element of the guest experience, from for beginners right through to advanced riders, as well as hosting international events and races.
Your role will involve leading the Trail Crew to continue to produce top knotch experience for guests who will want to return and learn more. As our Trail Crew Team Lead you will motivate the team to deliver in all seasons.
The role will include, but not limited to:
- Responsible for all operational aspects of the Trail Crew Department.
- Primary point of contact with Operations Manager
- Adhere to, and ensure Trail Crew team members adhere to all operational and safety procedures and work practices
- Work with the Operations Manager to ensure all equipment, machinery and tools are of safe working order, and maintenance schedules are current and adhered to.
- Maintain high standards including vehicles, equipment, and tool storage; contribute to a groomed, uncluttered, rubbish-free environment in general. Work closely with Maintenance to achieve this.
- Co-ordinate and manage workload and priorities
- Co-ordinate and manage team attendance and training requirements
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers
- Working with the Operations Manager to deliver work within budget,and identify areas for future investment in accordance with budget constraints.
