Important Trail Access Logging Operations

Update It's fair to say our trails have taken a bit of a hammering this year, so we are focusing our efforts over the next few months on getting them back in shape.

Importantly, there is also some planned logging on the hill over winter. Logging will affect the following trails: Wasabi, Community Transmission, GC, SMC, Captain Torpedo, Drainpipe, which are now closed until further notice.

Summit Connection will experience a small disruption early in the logging timeframe, but it will be mitigated by the trail crew in the next few weeks.

Please read the following carefully before visiting the Park:

• NO access to the any CAP trails on Mondays or Tuesdays.

• The Uphill Track may experience disruptions over the next 3 weeks.
Work is being carried out on our middle access road, which intersects the Green Trail, Uphill Track, and Walking Track.

• Summit Connection may experience limited disruptions towards the end of May.

Any closures or interruptions are expected to be minor, but please follow staff instructions and onsite signage.

• Please obey all trail signage at all times.

There will be active log truck traffic and excavators operating within the park. These vehicles have right of way.

• Tracks and areas within the marked Red Circle are strictly prohibited.

These are active logging zones and are closed for public safety.
Any violations may result in the loss of lift and pass privileges.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation while this essential work is completed. Safety is our top priority, and following all signage and closures helps keep the park safe for everyone.

Thank you,
The Christchurch Adventure Park Team
