Women's Nights

THE BETTER WAY TO SPEND YOUR EVENING

Our Women’s nights are a great opportunity to progress your skills in a small group setting with riders of similar abilities. Come, learn new skills, try new trails, and meet some epic people.

These clinics will give you high-quality lessons, and each rider will receive the personal attention needed to progress while benefiting from the group dynamics.

Whether you’re new to mountain biking or riding regularly, these sessions are structured to progress every rider and help you maximise your time on the trails.

What level should I be?

Beginners (Rider level 2)
Ideal for those who can ride a bike but have little to no mountain biking experience. Your Instructor will help you master the fundamentals of mountain biking, help you through any bad habits and show you how to tackle common obstacles on the Green and easier Blue trails. These sessions are designed to build a solid foundation and comfortably progress you into our Intermediate sessions.

Intermediate Learners
(Rider levels 3-4)
This is for riders who are familiar with the fundamentals of Mountain Biking and are comfortable on the Green and some Blue trails and want to progress onto more challenging terrain (Grade 3-4 trails). Several additional techniques will be covered at this level, e.g. Cornering, Jumping, Drops, advanced Brake Control, and Line Choice.

Advanced (Rider levels 5-6)
Full shredder alert!!
Our advanced rider groups have all the skills and techniques needed to ride the park, but are not quite getting to the level they want. These groups will focus on the goal of riding all the trails and features at the Park.

If you're still unsure after reading through the above descriptions, feel free to give us a call on 0508 247 478 for more details.

Remember this is all about improving your riding by progressing your skills, and techniques. This often means focusing on the fundamentals on easier trails to reach your higher goals.

Equipment Requirements and Suggestions

All Riders in Lessons.

Bikes

You are encouraged to bring your own bikes, but bikes must have two working disc brakes, appropriate off-road tires, and at least front suspension. Kickstands are a hazard when Mountain Biking and should be removed. If you are unsure about your bike’s suitability, let us know and we’ll be happy to take a look at it before the lesson.

Gear

You’re encouraged to bring your own equipment but Full face Helmet, Knee Armour, and appropriate closed-toe footwear are required for all lessons. Elbow armour, gloves and eye protection are strongly recommended. Full Face helmet, Knee & Elbow Armour, and Gloves can be rented/supplied if needed.

Conditions can be different at the top of the lift and can change during the lesson so depending on the weather forecast consider bringing a warmer and/or waterproof layer in a hydration pack.
